Videography
Augsburg Women’s Soccer
To say farewell to the graduating senior class and to recap an amazing first season with head coach Clara Webby, I had the pleasure of directing and shooting a short film documenting the blood, sweat, and tears that went into an amazing season.

What happens when soccer disappears?
Youth sports shut down with COVID-19 and impacted players and coaches in different ways. I was fascinated by this unique period of time and made a documentary interviewing both kids and adults about what it was like to have this social/physical time taken away from them. These were their responses.
Tonka United Soccer Club
“A United community that provides the best youth sport experience for players, families and coaches at all age groups and skill levels.”
Fusion Soccer Club
Similar to BSC, Fusion gave me the chance to work with some amazing people and athletes. While I produced less content, I felt that my quality of product had gone up significantly during this time.
Pillsbury United Communities
These are some of the many videos that I helped put together while working at the non-profit Pillsbury United Communities. Together with the help of some passionate individuals, we released a video series called the “Pillars of PUC” which featured amazing individuals dedicated to helping their community.
In addition to these videos is a the Multicultural Dinner, an annual event where it feels like the entire city comes together to celebrate their diverse backgrounds. It was an incredibly special night that I was so lucky to capture.
My films
“All the Things I’ve Ever Known” is a film about my worst fear: What if I forgot how to use the skills I spent my life learning?
“Solar Eclipse” was a collaboration between the Film and Dance departments of Winona State University. Because the dancers couldn’t hold a recital due to Covid-19, they teamed up with us filmmakers to shoot and hold a virtual film festival of their performances. This piece was submitted to Frozen River Film Festival in 2020 where it won the People’s Choice award.
It was co-directed by myself and Dakota Maertz.
“All Work and No Play” was an assignment to create a surrealist dream-like film. Our goal was to embrace wacky ideas and turn them into pictures on our screen.
“One Week on Campus 2020” was a collaborative project with my FILM 490 class. We were all split up into groups and assigned a day of the week in October, 2020 to film and record. Our job was to document the lives of college students during the pandemic. After filming, we would join our slices together to make one whole week.
I was assigned to Sunday with Brynn Artley and this is our piece.
